About Us

Caprock Royalties, LP (“Caprock”) was founded in 2019 by Keegan Faudree and Harlan Coats with the purpose of acquiring minerals, royalties and overriding royalties throughout the United States with a focus in the Permian Basin. Caprock was founded as an affiliate to OWL Exploration, LLC, the operating entity of Coats and Faudree. Caprock’s mission is to build a portfolio of both producing and non-producing royalty assets that is bolstered by our technical expertise. We are dedicated to working with royalty owners to find a deal structure that works for their needs and to using our engineering-backed evaluation approach to provide competitive offers.
